VANASTAS is owned and managed by Dr. Vanessa Anastasopoulos, a Credentialed Evaluator with over 25 years of experience in evaluation and applied social research. She holds a doctoral degree in Applied Social Psychology and is fluent in English and French.

Vanessa has conducted over 100 evaluation, performance measurement, and applied social research projects in a wide variety of domains, such as science and technology, health and social services, education, employment, and criminology, as well as for initiatives that benefit diverse groups such as women, older adults, youth, immigrants, and disadvantaged communities.

As an evaluation specialist, she has worked extensively with several Canadian federal government departments, guiding strategies for performance measurement and evaluating programs. In addition, she has led numerous evaluation and social research projects for not-for-profit organizations and academic institutions.

Vanessa actively participates on Canadian Evaluation Society committees and also holds professional affiliations with the American Evaluation Association and the Société québécoise d’évaluation de programme.
